It’s been quite some time since my last post and a lot has happened since then. The two major things that have taken place this past year has been my involvement with growing a company called FounderMade and launching my STEM and entrepreneurship resource site, Evolvher. Going over both in one post might be a little overwhelming, so I’ll start with FounderMade.
I have a history of event production and working with startups, so in March of 2015 I joined their small team to help the company scale from an intimate dinner series to a large scale conference. In the year that I’ve been with FounderMade we’ve now produced four conferences that have grown to attract 600+ attendees. Here are a few images from some of our conferences.
This has been an amazing journey so far. The companies that we’ve been able to promote, speakers we’ve learned from, and individuals we’ve connected has been inspiring to watch.
I’ve learned so much this past year such as:
- How to run pitch competitions
- How to create and design a pitch deck
- What makes a good business model
- And so much more!
Our next conference is coming up in October, so stay tuned. I promise to post more updates on what I’m up to, and what I have the privilege of learning.
